The details / customer information

Privacy Policy

How we use the information needed to answer questions and arrange stationery orders.

Information with a practical purpose

D&K Tax Firm LLC operates this document-folder and desk-organizer shop. We use personal information to answer product questions, review order requests, arrange delivery and payment, handle returns and meet recordkeeping duties. We do not need to know what is written on the documents you intend to store. Please do not send financial records, government identifiers, passwords or other sensitive paperwork when asking about a folder.

An order request may include your name, email, phone number, delivery address, chosen items and quantities, and an order reference. A message may include the details you choose to provide about a product or problem. Basic technical records can include request times, IP addresses and browser information needed to operate the website and investigate abuse. We do not describe those records as anonymous if they could identify someone.

Cart, request and payment are different stages

A cart and unfinished checkout use the necessary site session. A submitted request allows us to review what you want to buy and contact you about its total, address and payment arrangements. Sending that request is not an onsite payment. We do not ask for or collect card numbers through this website, and you should not send them by email or phone.

Payment is arranged after written confirmation by bank transfer. We may receive limited payment records such as a payer name, amount, date and reference to match the transfer to the request. We do not need your online-banking password, full account access or security code. If an unexpected message asks for those details, stop and contact us using the contact details on this site.

When information needs to leave the shop

We disclose the delivery details needed for a carrier to transport a parcel and the transaction details needed for banking and accounting. Providers supporting hosting or business communications may process information necessary to perform those functions. Carrier and banking details are provided as needed for the individual order. We do not sell personal information, run behavioral advertising or use optional analytics trackers.

Information may also be disclosed when a valid legal requirement applies or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, protect people or establish a claim. We aim to limit each disclosure to its purpose. We do not make customer contact information public as a review or publish photographs of customer paperwork. Please avoid including other people's personal data in messages or product photographs.

Retention and safeguards

We keep ordinary inquiries for up to 12 months after the last substantive exchange. Order, payment and refund records are kept for 7 years after the transaction to support accounting and related obligations. Routine security logs are retained for up to 30 days unless a specific incident requires preservation. Unsubmitted session data is intended to expire within 12 hours; the cookie preference is used for up to 180 days. An expired browser-storage record may remain on a closed device until the next visit or manual clearing; it is not a continuing permission.

A legal hold, open dispute or unresolved return may require relevant records to remain longer than the ordinary schedule. We restrict business access to what is needed, use protected access for operational records and avoid collecting unnecessary sensitive information. No internet service or message channel can be promised perfectly secure. If you believe you sent information to the wrong recipient or exposed a payment instruction, contact us promptly so the relevant next step can be considered.

Requests, corrections and complaints

You can contact us to ask what information we hold about your dealings with the shop, correct an address or request deletion of information no longer needed. We aim to respond within 30 calendar days. We may need a proportionate identity check, but will not ask for a banking password or verification code. We may retain records required for accounting, an active dispute or another applicable obligation and explain that limitation.

Available statutory rights depend on applicable US law and your circumstances; this policy does not promise that every privacy regime applies automatically. You may raise a concern directly through the contact routes below. Suspected fraud or deceptive practices can also be reported to the Federal Trade Commission at https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/. That reporting route is not our customer-support channel and does not replace contacting us about an order.

Updates and related controls

The Cookies Policy explains the necessary session and browser preference in more detail. Clearing browser storage does not delete an already-submitted order record. Contact us separately if you want to discuss information held about a request or purchase. If our practices change, we will update this policy rather than treating an old cookie choice as permission for a new advertising purpose.
